One possible reason for the switcheroo is suggested by the disreputable TBR News, which is that Trig died.

At a tragic point, not yet disclosed, little Trig died at the Palin’s home in Wasilla, Alaska (advanced Mongoloids do not live very long lives) and after some consultation with political advisors, who viewed the baby as a political asset, was privately buried in the back yard of the Governor’s home.

This tragedy was increased when the neighbor’s Rottweiler, Guenther, apparently dug up the baby’s remains and when neighbors saw the dog running down the street with its dreadful prize clamped in its jaws, law enforcement and animal control people were called. After a wild chase and the use of tranquilizer darts, the dog was asleep on the sidewalk and the horrified officials were left with the half-eaten remains. These would have normally been turned over to the county medical examiner but the Governor’s rank and political aspirations resulted in a reburial. A bucket of cement was used to fill the hole dug out by Guenther (who later regained consciousness and was turned over to his owners with the instructions to not ever let him out of the house again without a leash.)

This is fucking hilarious.

The Cannonfire post, alleging that Gore Vidal and Clay Shaw were friends and/or lovers, is spooky, and all the more so in light of Vidal's outspoken defense of Oklahoma City mass-murderer Timothy McVeigh as a "true patriot."

" ... whatever became of Clay Shaw? [His niece] answered that he went off to stay with a friend who maintained a villa in Italy. Presumably, Shaw there spent his few remaining days in peace ... Who among Shaw's friends had a villa in Italy?"

SALERNO, Italy (Reuter) - American author and social critic Gore Vidal was rushed to hospital in the southern Italian town of Salerno Friday after suffering a hemorrhage but was in a stable condition, doctors said. Vidal, 70, was taken to the San Giovanni hospital shortly after 6 a.m. following a rectal hemorrhage. A hospital official said he would undergo tests Saturday and a decision would be made then on how long to keep him in hospital.

Vidal has a villa on the Italian coast.

Jim Garrison called Oswald “a switch-hitter who couldn’t satisfy his wife” (Phelan 151). Sources in the older gay community, both unknown and as famous as Gore Vidal,2 claim Oswald was a gay hustler who worked the New Orleans bars. When asked if Oswald seemed gay, New Orleans attorney Dean Andrews said that Oswald “swang with the kids” (Kirkwood 138), the Latino “gay kids” whom he called “Mexicanos” (130). Andrews remarked that he didn’t know “squares” to hang out with gays, reckoning “birds of a feather flock together” (138). Andrews, who received a phone call from “Clay Bertrand” asking Andrews to defend Oswald soon after Lee’s arrest, claims these gay Latino youths had earlier accompanied Lee to Andrews’ law office (these were likely anti-Castro Cuban exiles). The sunglasses-sporting “hepcat” Dean Andrews was known in the New Orleans gay community as a sympathetic lawyer. Andrews said he had already received multiple requests from this articulate gentleman “Clay Bertrand” (a name Andrews took to be a pseudonym), to defend gay youths who had been arrested.

Clay Shaw was the only person ever to be prosecuted for the murder of President John F. Kennedy. He died of lung cancer in 1974. Or did he?

A good article with information on the fascinating case of Dimitri Dimitrov aka Donald Donaldson who claimed knowledge of a conspiracy in the JFK assassination.

About ten years after the JFK assassination, Dimitrov, operating sometimes under the aliases Lyle Kelly, James Adams, General Dimitre Dimitrov and Donald A. Donaldson, informed a number of people that he had information about who ordered the murder of JFK and who had committed the act. Reportedly, he had encountered the assassins while he had been imprisoned in Panama. He also told several people that he knew about military snipers who had murdered Martin Luther King. In 1977, Dimitrov actually met with US Sen. Frank Church, head of a Senate Committee investigating the CIA, and President Gerald Ford to share his information. Dimitrov said after the meeting that Ford had asked him to keep the information confidential until he could verify a number of facts. Immediately following the March 29, 1977, death of Lee Harvey Oswald's friend George de Mohrenschildt, Dimitrov became extremely frightened and contacted a reporter with a foreign television station who either mistakenly, or intentionally, revealed Dimitrov's name publicly on American television. Not long after this, Dimitrov disappeared in Europe where he had fled. He has never been seen or heard from since. Former CIA officials say privately, "Dimitrov was murdered" and "His body will never be found."

Wired: DARPA plans to create immortal 'synthetic organisms'

As part of its budget for the next year, Darpa is investing $6 million into a project called BioDesign, with the goal of eliminating “the randomness of natural evolutionary advancement.” The plan would assemble the latest bio-tech knowledge to come up with living, breathing creatures that are genetically engineered to “produce the intended biological effect.” Darpa wants the organisms to be fortified with molecules that bolster cell resistance to death, so that the lab-monsters can “ultimately be programmed to live indefinitely.”

So, some Utah lawmakers want Dr. Martin Luther King to share his holiday with a gunmaker. They say his "guns secured 'freedom that allowed King to do his work'".

Republican state Senate Majority Leader Scott Jenkins said it's "appropriate" to honor Browning, and he "personally sees no conflict in doing so on a day that already honors a Nobel Peace Prize winner," according to the Tribune.

"Guns keep peace," Jenkins said.

French Government Queries USA re 1950’s Secret LSD Experiment

A major diplomatic and political scandal is erupting that could have significant import for French-American relations. It involves new research into the mysterious outbreak of “mass insanity” in a village in southern France that affected some 500 people and resulted in five deaths.

Colonel Pierre Finck MD was one of the autopsy doctors in the JFK assassination. Several years ago I spoke to a longtime employee of the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology, after a former AFIP employee had alleged that this gentleman had been involved in the alteration of the autopsy material, based on statements made during breaks at work. At one point in the conversation the individual (I'll call him tailrunner) blurted out this phrase: "Colonel Finck was involved." He would not elaborate.

According to Colonel Finck's deposition to the Assassination Records Review Board he was also present at the autopsy of Robert Kennedy.

Eustace Mullins is dead

Esteemed populist historian (actually anti-semitic crank) Eustace Mullins died Tuesday.

Several years ago, the late political scientist Dr. John George, co-author with Laird Wilcox of the 1992 book "Nazis, Communists, Klansmen and Others on The Fringe" told me in confidence about a 1966 interview he had with neo-nazi H. Keith Thompson Jr.

Thompson had known Mullins since the 1950's when he recruited him to join Thompson's short-lived group, the American Committee for the Advancement of Western Culture.

Thompson told Dr. George about a conversation he had with Mullins in which Mullins acknowledged that he often concocted fabrications to cause grief to Jews.

H. Keith Thompson, according to Michael Collins Piper, was once romantically involved with Lee Harvey Oswald's mother Marguerite.

Rabbis Shapira and Elitzur determine that children may also be harmed because they are “hindrances.” The rabbis write as follows: “Hindrances—babies are found many times in this situation.
