Sirhan and sex magic

Many have identified the "most precious" secret of OTO as being the Star Sapphire - a sex magik ritual, It is represented by the two-triangle earth hexagram, and looks very much the same as a Star of David.

One page of Sirhan Sirhan's notebook, written during the early months of 1968, contains three stars and three triangles, with the first two triangles pointing down; the third pointing up.

Underneath the stars, we find the words, "triune" and "saffire". Here then, is the key - "saffire" being the phonetic spelling of "sapphire". What Sirhan had drawn were not Stars of David as a manifestation of his enmity to Israel. They were Star Sapphires. Not even the triangles were mere doodles, but contain various meanings within gnostic teaching depending on which way they point. "Triune" according to the same teachings is a description of man as being made of body, soul and spirit.

US gives up on eradicating Afghanistan’s opium

So far, eradication efforts have merely fueled the Taliban’s coffers and driven civilian farmers further outside of U.S. influence. Because of this, the United States has formed a new strategy in the fight against the crop: They are giving up.

I'm sure the Taliban gets a cut, since they control much of the countryside. But I'm also sure they are not the only ones. They story estimates that "The Taliban [...] derives up to $100 million a year from the poppy harvest by taxing farmers and charging safe passage fees". That will buy a lot of weapons to be used against our troops but is still a small fraction of the money generated by the heroin trade.

Village Voice (1963): Villagers Report Oswald Was Here

The Voice has learned that a number of proprietors of Greenwich Village establishments have been given photographs by the FBI of a youthful right-winger who has spent considerable time in the Village.

The subject of the photographs has been identified as Stephen L' eandes, a native of Wiggins, Mississippi. The FBI is checking out information that Lee Harvey Oswald, alleged assassin of President Kennedy, had spent time in Greenwich Village reputedly in the company of L' eandes. L' eandes has not yet been located. The FBI is apparently eager to fill out the details of Oswald's life.

Meanwhile, reports have been snowballing that Oswald actually lived in the Village for a time since his return from Russia. A number of people insist they knew Oswald, but informants present their story via the telephone and have generally avoided direct contact with the FBI and the newspapers. One rumor links Oswald with a Village psychotherapist whose card Oswald was allegedly carrying at the time he was picked up by the Dallas police.

I just found out that this blog is mentioned in Ultimate Sacrifice . I had read the book when it came out but missed the reference to Covert History. The reference is to my email exchange with the nephew of David Atlee Phillips which was actually the subject of my very first post. That email is also featured in David Talbot's Brothers but without crediting me.

The Rev. Frank Stranges and Val Thor

I have just learned that the Rev. Frank Stranges has died.Actually he died last November but I just learned of it. The Rev. Stranges (his actual name) is best known, of course, as the man who met the Venusian Val Thor at the Pentagon, as described in his book Stranger at the Pentagon.

I corresponded briefly with Dr. Stranges shortly before his death. I was wondering if he knew Fred Crisman, who features in both the UFO mystery and the JFK assassination. Dr. Stranges told me that he had never met him but did know a mutual acquaintance Thomas Beckham who is, so far as I know, still alive. Beckham is featured in Joan Mellen's book A Farewell to Justice. Dr. Stranges seemed a fine gentleman so I assume his story is true and urge the government to release the documents detailing Commander Val Thor's three year stay at the Pentagon.

Salon: DoD training manual calls protests "low-level terrorism"

The Department of Defense is training all of its personnel in its current Antiterrorism and Force Protection Annual Refresher Training Course that political protest is "low-level terrorism."

WorldNetDaily is covering this as if it's purely an Obama administration thing. At least they give credit to the ACLU.

The Robert Kennedy assassination has always been the neglected assassination. There have been only a handful of books. The House Select Committee did not investigate it. Rose Lynn Mangan has and she has posted a lot of information on her site Sirhan's Researcher.

The document is an L.A.P.D. memo from a “W.E.P.” to Deputy Chief John A. McAllister, asserting that the L.A.P.D. had run its own independent analysis of the two bullets using its own Hycon Balliscan camera. Criminalist Larry Baggett’s conclusions were cited in the memo.

He concludes that:

1. The bullets that hit RFK and William Weisel were NOT fired from the same gun.

2. The bullet that entered RFK’s neck was not fired from Sirhan’s revolver.

Did MJ-12 order the Assassination of JFK?

That question is asked in this article , one of a series by Michael Salla, Ph.D. Salla's thesis is based on the dubious MJ-12 documents. He also features the McCone-Rowley document, first introduced to the world by me, which he refers to as a "declassified CIA document."

There is more evidence to directly implicate Angleton in the Kennedy assassination. Lee Harvey Oswald was among a small group of American citizens to have defected to the Soviet Union in 1959. The CIA established a file on Oswald in 1960, but some authors claim that CIA counterintelligence were monitoring Oswald even earlier, and that Angleton was directly involved through an intermediary. A declassified CIA document later confirmed that Oswald was trained by the CIA in 1957 for Soviet assignments.

The situation in Iran

Was the Iranian election stolen? Cenk Uygur in The Huffington Post says the Iranian elections were obviously rigged, citing this NT Times story:

Rallies for Mr. Moussavi have drawn tens of thousands of people in recent days, and a new unofficial poll suggests his support has markedly increased, with 54 percent of respondents saying they would vote for him compared with 39 percent for Mr. Ahmadinejad.

This Washington Post story, which seems more credibly sourced, says the opposite:

The election results in Iran may reflect the will of the Iranian people. Many experts are claiming that the margin of victory of incumbent President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was the result of fraud or manipulation, but our nationwide public opinion survey of Iranians three weeks before the vote showed Ahmadinejad leading by a more than 2 to 1 margin -- greater than his actual apparent margin of victory in Friday's election.

Blogger Joseph Cannon provides some interesting historical back story showing the extent to which the U.S supported the Ayatollah Khomeini, in an effort to prevent a socialist goverment in Iran after the Shah.

What should the U.S. do? I would say: nothing. Supporting the overthrow of a moderate Iranian government in 1953 was a mistake. Supporting the Ayatollah Khomeini and stirring up militant Muslims worldwide was a mistake. Meddling in Iran, as we certainly did during Bush and are probably still doing under Obama, is a mistake. A military attack on Iran would be a big mistake.

Iraq and the WMDs

Most everyone now agrees that there were no WMDs, except for a handful of true wingnuts who say S. Hussein shipped them off to Syria or something. A true wingnut will never admit he was wrong.

I used to argue with my rightwing boss about the war. He would get really pissed off by claims that Bush and Cheney lied. "But everyone thought there were weapons of mass destruction." Just faulty intelligence. I tried to argue that most of the "evidence" that Colin Powell offered to the UN had been either discredited or at least strongly challenged by the time we went to war.

So today I'm looking through some old columns by Sam Francis, a true conservative of the paleo variety. Here's part of what he had to say in March of 2003:

It should be clear that the president and vice president are not merely in error. It should be clear that they—and other administration officials—are lying, telling the American people our country is in danger when in fact it is not.

Why did they lie to push us into war?

A clever recontexulaization of classics by Renaissance and Modernist masters! By a 89-year-old White Supremacist who just killed a man at the Holocaust Museum!

I like it. I would be interested in Joseph Cannon's evaluation of the artistic merits, but we are once again no longer on speaking terms, this time because he disagreed with my opinion of the merits of Fingergate. Not only am I wrong but I know I'm wrong and deceitfully refuse to admit I'm wrong and should therefore fuck off. Ah well . . .

Shoot-out at Holocaust Museum

The suspect is an 88-year old white man. Yes another terrorist attack by a white man. Nonetheless this blog opposes profiling white people. This time the suspect is a white supremacist by the name of James von Brunn. Von Brunn has a web presence, as in this web article titled Hitler's Worst Mistake: He Didn't Gas the Jews. I know what you're thinking, "Wait a minute, Hitler did gas the Jews", but apparently history is not this guy's strong suit. Mr. von Brunn has apparently been ranting and raving about Jews for a long time.

Letters from the veteran here. He says he had a photos of Kennedy with the alien but destroyed them. Damn! The veteran says he was an ex- Government Air Force photographer with a "Crypto clearance" which is interesting. Oswald was reported to have had a crypto clearance. I'm not saying I believe this story though.

Tales of Tiller (my two cents)

So was Dr. George Tiller a baby-killing monster or a conscientious, loving and dedicated physician. Depends on who you listen to.

Even this anti-Tiller site contains some information that paints Tiller in a positive light. One of Dr. Tiller's patients, Cheryl writes:

I have one child and this was a WANTED pregnancy.Our world crashed when we found out something was seriously wrong during a routine ultrasound at 22 weeks (5 1/2 months). We were told she had a two-vessel cord, her heart was on the wrong side (fluid around the heart - leading to failure), ribs were butterflied, lung abnormalities, and spine was missing pieces & fragmented. Her facial bones were abnormal as well as her brain development. She also had dislocated, frog-like hips and her tailbone was missing. Two doctors at two major hospitals, one perinatal, had no idea what to tell us. They had never seen this before.

I thought I was going to die of a broken heart. The second question we asked was about quality of life. We were told "zero" and that her deformities were 'incompatible with life". If she survived to term and birth, which was very doubtful, our child would be in constant pain and have numerous inoperable conditions. We were informed we had one of two options, continue pregnancy or terminate.

Dr. Tiller and his staff were absolutely wonderful. We were given the option of having our baby baptized, the option to see/hold/name her, prints of her hands/feet (which I now have her footprints tattooed on my wrist), a certificate of her delivery, the option to take photos and medical xrays.

There are other, less positive accounts on this site. I believe that late-term abortion should be legally available in cases like this.

On the other hand, not all of Dr. Tiller's cases involved threats to the life or health of the mother, or severe fetal abnormality. The most horrific involves not only an apparent elective abortion of a healthy fetus by a healthy mother but the abortion failed and the baby survived although severely damaged by the procedure. This is the case of baby Sarah Brown. This case is truly disturbing and I hope that it turns out to be some kind of hoax, but there is no evidence that this is the case. Allegedly it involves a very late-term abortion (36 weeks!) and on top of that the fetus survives--for another five years, before dying of complications of the abortion procedure.

The toxin that the abortionist injected into her brain caused injuries that became apparent and progressively worse as Sarah grew. "For the first few months she seemed to be progressing normally, although she was blind," said Marykay Brown. "She had acute hearing, and was beginning to try to speak."

However, at about five or six months Sarah suffered a stroke from which she never fully recovered. Brown said she showed awareness of her environment and her family, but never spoke or walked.

"She recognized us and learned to smile," Mrs. Brown said.

Sarah also discovered a unique way of communicating. A machine monitored her at night and would sound an alarm if Sarah stopped breathing. "She learned that if she held her breath the monitor would go off," Brown said. "We would jump out of bed and she would be grinning at us. That was how she got attention."

I am in favor of banning third-trimester abortion, unless there is a serious threat to the life or health of the mother, or in cases of severe fetal abnormality. This would involve some difficult judgement calls, and I believe that judgement should best be made by the woman and her doctor. In rare cases a judge may have to get involved. How "severe" is severe?

I do not have all the answers and neither do the pro-life and pro-choice supporters.
