It's a small covert world after all.
a lot of men in the US were Freemason in this time. The membership reached around 5 millions in their "golden age". So it's not surprising to find an FBI agent who was a freemason.
Thank you for the information about the Fu-Go project, I had never heard of these before.
By any chance, is this the same Guy Bannister who was CIA chief in New Orleans and was said to be involved in the JFK assassination?
Anonymous, yes it is the same Guy Banister (note correct spelling.) He wasn't CIA chief in New Orleans but had connections.
Anonymous, he was running a private detective agency and was preparing for the another operation like bay of pigs invasion named as "operation mongoose" by training anti-Castro Cuban exiles.
