I just listened to this interesting interview with Gordon Novell.

Gordon Novell was once an investigator for District Attorney Jim Garrison's investigation of the Kennedy assassination until Garrison began to suspect that Novell had another agenda. Novell admits during the interview that "I certainly had an interest in protecting the CIA." Novell describes how during the Johnson administration he was "quasi-White House special ops/black ops." Apparently during that administration he met Attorney General Ramsey Clark who he was later involved with in the Waco investigation. During Waco he says he was assisted by "friends of mine in the CIA." Novell was also involved in the John DeLorean defense and also the Michael Jackson defense during his trial for child molestation.

For more on the Michael Jackson connection see this Vanity Fair article.

As you probably recall, Ramsey Clark was also involved in the Martin Luther King case too as Attorney General. That would also make him AG during the RFK assassination.
