Unmountable Boot Volume

I haven't been posting because my Compaq laptop won't start up Windows because of "Unmountable Boot Volume." All the geek sites tell me to start up from the boot disk I don't have. Does anyone have a Windows XP boot disk?

This is what you're looking for. Obviously it's difficult if you can't get online but if you can borrow someone's computer, you can make these bootable disks and then use them to boot your disk :)
Good luck!

I believe you can use any matching Microsoft OS installation CD to boot your machine, then use its built-in utilities to fix your hard disk's boot partition.
