Bill Maher on Controlled Demolition 911 theories
"Crazy people who still think the government brought down the Twin Towers in a controlled explosion," the comedian jabbed, "have to stop pretending that I'm the one who's being naive."I have strong doubts that we have been told the truth about the events of September 11. There are a few good researchers like Peter Dale Scott and Daniel Hopsicker who are trying to get to the truth. The average 911 truther, however, makes the typical JFK conspiracy buff look like a paragon of reason.
"How big a lunatic do you have to be to watch two giant airliners packed with jet fuel slam into buildings on live TV, igniting a massive inferno that burned for two hours, and then think 'well, if you believe that was the cause," he continued, adding that people should "stop asking me to raise this ridiculous topic on the show and start asking your doctor if Paxil is right for you."

Amen. So, how many of the old JFK crowd have segued into "Truthism"? We have Fetzer, of course. And Jim Marrs. I was fed up with those two guys long before 911 occurred, and I'd bet that you felt similarly. (At least Marrs used to do good reportage when he was a newspaperman.)
Peter Dale Scott hobnobs with the 911 movement but has not allied himself with the CDers. That has been Scott's way for decades -- he's not all that picky when it comes to the folks who stands next to, but he phrases his own statements with great care.
Is there anyone else from the old days...?
