I was sitting yesterday with Karl Rove, Bush's top advisor, at the NCAA basketball game, discussing Israel when this email came in. I showed it to him. It seems that the President was very sad to have to come out negatively regarding Israel, but that they needed to mollify the Arabs for the upcoming war on Iraq. That did not seem to work anyway. Bush seems to love Sharon and Israel, and thinks Arabfat [sic], is nothing but a liar. I thought I'd pass that on.

interesting that all of a sudden, the convicted criminal is the reliable source.
Now of course i know the left has a certain love affair for criminals but i'm not ready to indict the president on the word of this man.
Also, we invaded Iraq in march of 2003, this email was october of 2002. Even if we take this email at face value, what exactly are you saying Bush lied about?
For at least a year we before we went into Iraq there was talk about the possibility. We knew by august of 2002 that saddam wasn't going to abide by the U.N. resolutions. Do you even have a point here?
about what?
I love to argue with you but i'm having trouble with it right now because you're not saying anything.
Bush lied about going to war in Iraq. WMDs were just a pretext for war, a war that Bush --contrary to all public statements (lies) had decided on long before. Read the Downing Street memos. The intelligence was fixed around the policy.
There has been so much already released on this Abramhoff thing, I sincerely doubt anything will come of this. There has been much worse revealed about ol' Jack many times before this. The murder of that gambling boat that Jack bought and wouldn't make payments, the smuggling of weapons to Israeli mercenaries, etc. This is all, just like Foley, a smoke screen to cover for that bill 6616. The one that makes any of us criticizing the govt. "enemy combantants".
